Ceasar - from basic puppy sessions to a full-blown mentorship... the puppy that helped me process the loss of Archer

I can’t recommend Archer’s Puppy Academy enough. I’ve been training with Dersim for almost five months, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Rottweiler, Ceaser.

 

From the very beginning, Dersim has shown an incredible level of knowledge, dedication, patience, and passion. His commitment to every dog and owner he works with is evident in every training session. He genuinely loves what he does, and his work ethic is second to none.

 

My Rottweiler, Ceaser, has built such an amazing bond with Dersim. The trust, respect, and connection they share is something truly special, and it’s a testament to the time, effort, and consistency Dersim invests in every dog. Ceaser has learned so much through his training, and I’ve seen enormous improvements in his obedience, engagement, confidence, and behaviour.

 

Owning an almost 8-month-old Rottweiler weighing close to 40kg is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be challenging. There have been times where I felt overwhelmed and questioned whether I was capable of handling such a powerful breed. During those moments, Dersim never gave up on us. He encouraged me, supported me, and gave me the confidence to keep going when I felt like I couldn’t. His belief in both Ceaser and me has made a world of difference.

 

What really sets Archer’s Puppy Academy apart is that Dersim doesn’t just train dogs, he teaches owners how to understand their dogs, communicate effectively, and build a lifelong relationship based on trust and respect. He’s always available to answer questions, explain techniques, and make sure you’re progressing both during and outside of training sessions.

 

Thanks to Dersim’s guidance, I now have hope and confidence for Ceaser’s future. We still have goals we’re working towards, but I know we’re on the right path because of the foundation he’s helped us build.

Benedict - I'm happy to answer a thousand more

Having made the decision to buy a miniature dachshund, my partner and I were concerned with how to get the best possible training and tips and tricks to help ease our puppy into his new life with us. We met with Dersim who is an incredible, patient, understanding & is extremely passionate about animals. He taught us how to properly navigate anxiousness in our pup & tackle being reactive when taking on walks. He also walked us through different body languages in dogs so we will be more alert. His dedication to animals is outstanding. I’m someone who asks a thousand questions as I want to be the best mum to my fur baby, he always answered and never made me feel like I was annoying or asking something silly. He poured so much knowledge into our training sessions and each time we left more confident and understanding. Highly recommend.

Coco - from timid to thriving

Dersim coached us and our puppy Coco during puppy school, and we had a fantastic experience. He was incredibly patient, calm, and clearly very skilled, taking the time to explain not just what to do but why it mattered. Coco was extremely shy in her first class and would literally hide behind me whenever other puppies or people came near. By the final session, she was already playful, more confident, and comfortable engaging with others. The progress we saw in such a short time was amazing, and Dersim’s approach made a real difference for both Coco and us as owners. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone starting out with a puppy.

Dersim was a fantastic trainer who provided clear and really helpful training throughout the classes. He shared lots of examples from his past experiences with dogs, which made the training easy to understand and apply at home.
